13 Perverted Couples Raided while Indehoi was at the Hotel

jpnn.comBANJARMASIN – Police arrested 13 couples suspected of being lewd or unmarried in raids carried out at a number of hotels in Central Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan on Sunday (24/3) early morning.

Central Banjarmasin Police Chief Commissioner Eka Saprianto carries out patrol activities to anticipate immoral acts at hotels during Ramadan.

“We have detained 13 couples without marriage certificates,” said Police Commissioner Eka Saprianto in Banjarmasin, Sunday.

There were four hotels or lodgings inspected, including the Royal Borneo Guest House on Jalan Djok Mentaya, Kertak Baru Ilir Village, the Mira Inn Nagasari Hotel on Jalan Djok Mentaya, Kertak Baru Ilir Village, the Pelangi Hotel on Jalan Sutoyo S, Teluk Dalam Village and the Mira Inn Hotel in Jalan Pangeran Samudera, Kertak Baru Ulu Village.

“We carried out a raid at the hotel early Sunday morning starting at around 00.30 WITA until just before dawn at 03.00 WITA,” said the Police Chief accompanied by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Banjarmasin Police, Inspector Hendra Agustian Ginting.

Not only that, said Eka, the patrol team also confiscated dozens of bottles/cans of alcoholic beverages from various brands while conducting an inspection at Depot 88 Jalan Pangeran Samudera, Kertak Baru Ulu Village, Central Banjarmasin District.

“All perpetrators of public disease that we apprehend during this patrol activity are immediately taken to the Sector Police for examination. If there are criminal elements, they will be processed according to applicable legal regulations,” he stressed.

Police Commissioner Eka Saprianto also said that patrol activities created this condition in order to anticipate acts of thuggery and prevent immoral acts so that criminal acts do not occur during the month of Ramadan in the jurisdiction of the Central Banjarmasin Police.
