This fall and winter South Korea’s No. 1 travel agency, Hana Tour, is recommending the Marianas as a family travel destination that combines warm weather, resort relaxation, and island sightseeing.
According to the Marianas Visitors Authority, visitors from Korea comprised 82% of all travelers to the Marianas in fiscal year 2023. Based on Hana Tour’s booking data to Saipan, the main travelers are families with children, with 22% of travelers aged 0-19 and 58% of travelers aged 30-49 in the third quarter of this year.
“Saipan is an ideal destination for families to spend time together, and its popularity is growing every year,” said a representative from Hana Tour. “We will continue to provide products and services for all ages with unique travel products using various islands in the Marianas.”
Hana Tour offers a variety of Marianas travel packages for families. The Saipan 5-Day Package for two adults and two children includes relaxation and activities at Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Aqua Resort Club, Coral Ocean Resort Saipan, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan, Grandvrio Resort Saipan, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Kensington Hotel Saipan, Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, and Saipan World Resort. In August, the travel agency launched a new four-day Saipan package that includes a day tour of Tinian, only a 10-minute light aircraft flight from Saipan.
Mode Tour is also offering a new package to Saipan that includes golf at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort and accommodations at Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan. The promotion includes a 40% discount for the first 100 groups booked.
